Chinese Immigration in Latin America: Some Cultural Contributions

This book provides an overview of some of the current issues related to the social and cultural relationship between Latin America and China. In particular, it discusses challenges connected to Chinese immigration to various Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, Argentina, and Mexico.


Pablo Baisotti received his PhD in Politics, Institutions and History from the School of Political Science of the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2015, having previously obtained an MPhil in European-Latin American International Relations from the same institution in 2008. He also holds an MA in Law and Economic Integration from the Universidad Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne and the University of El Salvador. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centro Maria Sibylla Merian de Estudios Latinoamericanos Avanzados at the University of Costa Rica.
