Marcello Nicoletti graduated in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry at the University Sapienza of Rome, Italy, before conducting his postdoctoral studies at the University of Cambridge. His scientific interests are the utilization of advanced analytic techniques in solving biological problems, including environmental impact factors and the quality control of food supplements. He is the author of more than 300 papers in various scientific journals and more than 15 books. He is the editor of Natural Product Reports and a member of the Editorial Board of several international journals. He is Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Biology in the Environmental Biology Department of the University Sapienza of Rome.

Fernando Piterà di Clima is a medical doctor, and obtained his degree at the University of Genoa, Italy. He is a Professor of Gemmotherapy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dental Medicine at the University “Vasile Goldis”, Romania. He is the author of several books on homeopathy, natural medicines, and history of medicine, and has published more than 200 scientific papers.
