Jerome W. Thompson, MD, MBA, teaches ear, nose and throat (ENT) residents, and medical students at the University of Tennessee Memphis. His main research focus is in pediatric airways and their reconstruction. He received his MD from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical School, and completed his Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the same institution. He earned his MBA degree from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, and was one of the 13 founding members of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He was voted as one of the ‘Best Doctors in America’ 28 years in a row (1992-2020), and has served as Chairman of numerous regional, national, and international committees.
