Tamer K. Darwish (MBA, PhD) is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management in the College of Business Administration at the University of Dubai. He obtained his PhD in Strategic HRM from Brunel University. He has work experience in the banking sector and in HR issues as a senior consultant. He has also taught a variety of subjects including Strategic HRM, International and Comparative HRM, Organisational Behaviour, and Employee Relations. He has published several articles on the topic of Strategic HRM and Organisational Performance. His research has appeared in leading HR journals including Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and International Journal of Manpower.
