Dr Muhammad Imran Qadir is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Bahuddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. He has published more than 200 articles in various national and international journals, and is the author of 15 books. He developed a new cost-effective and convenient method for diagnosis of cancer named the “Qadir test”. He has also established the use of many local plants in the treatment of cancer, jaundice, hepatitis, hypertension, asthma, diabetes, and infectious diseases of bacterial and fungal origin. As a result of his research endeavours, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan recognised him as “Best Young Research Scholar”.
