This book examines political communication and argumentation in Japan, focusing on the short and disruptive terms of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) from 2009-2012, and the long and successful rule of Prime Minister Abe Shinzō of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2012-2020.
